Summer Research Assistant

Position Details:

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

Assist with the establishment, maintenance and harvesting of field trials,
Assist with crop scouting and the undertaking of data collection activities in the field,
Processing of plant and soil samples throughout the growing season,
Help with preparing for field days and plot tours,
Perform data entry and record keeping tasks.

Requirements:

Applicant must have a valid drivers licence,
Applicant must be willing to work outdoors and, at times, may have to work in hot, cold, dusty (including plant pollen) or loud environments,
Must be able to pass a reliability status security clearance.
